You are bidding on a large, very rare original antique print from an 1870s French illustrated journal.
It depicts an Irish Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier waiting at the door.
It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture measures about 6 x 8.1
inches, with a French caption below. There is unrelated text surrounding the print. which could be trimmed for framing.
The French caption reads: Le chien du peintre
which translates to:
The
dog
of
the
painter
The page is in excellent condition for its age. It has one small brown fox mark in the white margin area below the print (see scan).
There is text/photos on the back of the print.
