Description
"The Duke of Flatbush" is the title of this original 1988 "stated first printing" hardcover book about legendary Brooklyn Dodgers baseball player Duke Snider. The book was written by Duke Snider along with Bill Gilbert, with an introduction by former Dodgers pitcher Carl Erskine.This 288-page book was published in 1988 by Zebra Books, a subsidiary of the Kensington Publishing Corporation in New York City.
On this book's half-title page, Duke Snider hand-signed this personal inscription in blue ink: "TO GREG, BEST WISHES, DUKE SNIDER". Our "Certificate of Authenticity" will be included.
The book has its original white and blue cloth hard covers with gold lettering on the spine.
The book comes in its original paper dust jacket with illustrations of Duke Snider on the front and back, along with illustrations of Jackie Robinson and Pee Wee Reese on the front.

The Duke Snider signature is clean.
The paper dust jacket has some light edge wrinkling, and a small scuff line on the back.
The dust jacket is glossy and overall very good.
