Retipping Service for your Micro-Acoustics Cartridge. You must have original stylus that I will happily evaluate for retipping. This listing has been revised to reflect that this service is now limited to .3 x .7 bonded elliptical retipping. The only current manufacturer of .2 x .7 elliptical styli has quit making them, so unless I can find a stash of old stock, I am now retipping these with .3 x .7 elliptical styli.
These are some of the most unique and awesome sounding cartridges ever made. Neither moving magnet, moving iron or moving coil designs. In fact, not magnetic at all!!!!
Unfortunately, Micro-Acoustics is no longer around, in business, and making new replacement styli. Even worse, nobody is making replacement styli. But if you love your Micro-Acoustics Cartridge, I can help!
I have retipped many, many Micro-Acoustics cartridges and have restored them all back to their original astonishing abilities.
In many cases, I can replace just the diamond alone, too. For beryllium cantilevers that are intact, I can often save the beryllium cantilever as well and install a nude diamond for an extra charge. Please inquire.
