    Description

Restore the silky smooth dropping and lifting action of the cue on your turntable using this high quality 100k (100,000) cst tonearm dampening fluid.
Included in the purchase is 1mL (enough for multiple reapplications in our experience) of our made in the USA tonearm damping fluid , locking syringe cap for leak free storage, and a 14 gauge blunt application needle for easy and accurate application (given the viscosity of the fluid, lower gauge needles can cause difficulty in the ease of application).
Over time the manufacture's original dampening oil can dry or dissipate, resulting in poor cueing action. Often time this manifest in the tonearm dropping too quickly (which can result in stylus damage) or causing bouncing if rising too fast.
By applying our damping fluid you can restore the functioning of your tonearm cueing to like new!
Different tonearms require different damping fluid viscosity. For example some ultra-lightwight tonearms may require 50k cst, lightweight tonearms such as 80s Pioneer, Onkyos, Duals, etc may only require 100k cst, Thorens require 200k, many vintage and modern medium mass tonearms like those on 70's Technics, Pioneer, JVC, Audio-Technica etc. are suggest to use 300k cst fluid and some high mass tonearms can require 500k to 1M cst. We sell all types of tonearm dampening fluid so please see our other items if you require other viscosities!
